Mike – fiddle, mandolin, guitar, vocals
2007 Golden Guitar nominee and 2007 winner of a Victorian Country Music Award, Mike brings fiddle, guitar, mandolin, a first-rate reputation for consummate musicianship and a lifetime of experience to the band. Mike toured as a soloist with Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra in June 2007. Since 1978 Mike has been a quiet driving force in the country music scene, having played for 10 years with The Flying Emus, more than 20 years with Slim Dusty’s Traveling Country Band and currently touring with Anne Kirkpatrick. In our little folk band he revisits his origins as the son of a fiddle player from Co Clare. Oh, and we get his wicked sense of humour as well.

Michael
- Bass
A highly sought-after player and a long-time professional musician, Michael has eclectic musical taste, as his list of current associations demonstrates - The Bushwackers; Anne Kirkpatrick Band; The BlueMoons; The Shafters; Don Walker Band and Wheelers & Dealers. Michael is also a skilled recording producer/engineer with his own studio. Having played over the years with Slim Dusty and The Traveling Country Band, the Flying Emus, The Whitlams and Fiddlers Festival, to name just a few, he credits his musicianship to Louis Armstrong who, he says, once held baby Michael in one hand and played the trumpet with the other ... if only he could just remember that song …

Tinker Duffy (accordion, bodhran and vocals)
Tinker lives and breathes traditional music. Of
Irish/Romany/ Welsh descent, she can make her squeeze box
spit fire or sooth the day’s wounds, depending on what the
music requires. Her music is punchy, dance-insisting and
capable of converting the disbelievers to understand that
this music goes deep into the soul. Her first accordion
lesson from Rolf Harris as a young girl set her on a
lifetime path of involvement in the traditional music, song
and dance of Ireland in bush bands, dance bands, choirs and
sessions. She performs regularly with her husband, John
Duffy – together they are sought after as music session
leaders for their vast knowledge of tunes and songs and for
their inspirational style.
